Vritti i-Media was chosen to spread the awareness about the “Vigilance Awareness Week” by the Government of Maharashtra on behalf of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC). 31st October 2011 to 5th November 2011 was declared as the “Dakshata Jana Jagruti Saptah” (Vigilance Awareness Week) by the CVC. The Central Vigilance Commission decided to make the “Vigilance Awareness Week” as “Participative Vigilance”. The Commission is thereby inviting people to come forward and report any corruption related information against any Government Department or Organization within the jurisdiction of the CVC.
CVC has directed all the Organizations under its jurisdiction to spread the awareness about the “Vigilance Awareness Week”. All possible means were to be utilized to spread the awareness of this being “Participative vigilance”.
To spread this message in the local language in Aurangabad, in the state of Maharashtra, Vritti i-Media was chosen as one of the Mass Media. Vritti i-Media has successfully made inroads in the interiors of Maharashtra with its ST Announcement system. The CVC chose Vritti i-Media to announce the “Vigilance Awareness Week” through this Announcement system.
Simple jingles like “Bhrashtachar Tala, Desh Majboot Kara” and “Kayadeshir vyavahar, door thevi bhrashtachar” touched the hearts of people. Along with the jingles, the local Anti-corruption Bureau’s office address and telephone numbers were also announced. The anti-corruption jingles were announced through the system attracting the attention of thousands of ST commuters every day. Vritti i-Media is a very effective way to reach the local people, in their own language and through a medium that is close to their heart.
